My name is Funmi Olarewaju; I am a graduate of Trinity International University, Deerfield, Illinois; and Dominican University River-Forest, Illinois where I obtained a Masters in Business Administration (MBA). My hobbies include cooking, traveling and volunteering in various ways to address different needs in my community.
I am also a member of the National Association of Realtors and the Youngstown Columbiana Association of Realtors. I received my real estate license in 2005.
Before entering the business world I was an educator and taught briefly for the Youngstown City Schools as a permanent substitute. I have also worked for the Youngstown Metropolitan Housing Authority (YMHA) as the Homeownership Coordinator for 7 years.
While at YMHS I taught the First Time Home Buyers Education classes and provided one-on-one financial and pre & post-purchase home counseling. I loved my job! It is truly exciting and fulfilling to successfully get clients through the home buying process! Over the past 11 years, I have also assisted individuals, families, and investors purchase properties in Mahoning and Trumbull Counties.
